So if you are looking for more Halloween theme ideas for preschool & recreational gymnastics coaches… here are 13 ideas to get you going! Have fun!

PS – this website is user-supported, so if you buy something via some of the links, we may get a little commission that helps us pay the bills! Don’t worry though, I wouldn’t share it if I wouldn’t use it myself πŸ™‚

Floor Web

Turn your whole floor into a spider web! Use white tape, or any velrco you might have lying around!

Leaf Walking

Get upsidedown and follow the felt leaves! Great pre-handstand drill πŸ™‚

Zombie Walks

Honestly – it’s just fun to watch!

Witches Hat Ring Toss

Way more fun than a pylon! You can find this exact ring toss set on amazon!

Parent & Tot Halloween Floor Circuit!

Here is a floor circuit we did last year — my fav part is the witches hat switch near the end (you’ll need small pylons & bigger ones too).

Dueling Handstand Halloween Twister

This is looks so fun!I couldn’t find the twister board online, but I did find a couple tablecloths that could be used similarly.
Option 1 – Skulls – you could call out the colour of skulls and/or flowers.
Option 2 – Ghosts – call out the shapes (pumpkin, ghost, cat, hat, bat, spider)

Pumpkin Sweep

Teaching some great life skills here! Don’t want to do pumpkins? Try ping pong eyeballs instead! Maybe even switch out the regular broom for a witches broom!

Haunted Maze!

Extra points for the themed interior decorating, too! Excellent use of the parachute and then all the extra halloweeny stuff — twinkle lights, giant spiders web, balloons and hanging ghosts!

Pumpkin Workout

Doesn’t feel like a workout when pumpkins are involved — just be ready for clean up!

Hopping Monsters!

Monsters don’t come much cuter than this!

Costume Parade on the Tumble Track!

Gotta theme up the tumble track too!

Spider Beam!

Don’t get caught in the web – stay low! I’m terrible at laying out the fake webs, so this is especially impressive work in my eyes! πŸ˜‰

Trick or Treat Delivery!

Drop those treats in the bins πŸ™‚

Parent & Tot “HallowBeam” Circuit (#2)

Here is another beam circuit we did for the littlest kiddos!

Just for kicks, here are some extra props & decorations that might inspire you for more fun during your Halloween theme week !

Candy corn bowling?! So fun! The candy corn can used like a pylon throughout your gym as well – for games, as objects to step over on beam or tap with your toes as you walk by! Possibilities are endless!

Eyeball and spoon! Imagine your kiddos balancing their eyeballs as they walk across the beam, or around an obstacle course on floor? Make it a race or just go your own speed. Either way, it’s hilarious.

Hang this from your high bar and you have a fun Halloween themed bean bag toss station!

Carnival toss game kit — comes with 10 cans & 3 bean bags (all Halloween themed, of course). Use together as intended or split them up for other uses (ie. on bars, do a glide out to knock over cans with feet, or tuck hangs holding bean bags on our laps, etc).

Not just hair bands! These can be placed over the beams for kids to step over!

Witches hat ring toss! Put this at the end of the beam or use it as part of a warm up game!
