- Rec & Preschool Directors (or similar role managing any aspect the rec program)
- Gym owners (or similar “big boss” roles like Executive Directors & Gym Managers)
- Coaches who are — or aspire to be — leaders and decision-makers within their recreational program (passionate coaches & lesson planners of all ages, camp coordinators, floor supervisors, events & parties lead, etc.)

What to Expect at a Rec Gym Pros Summit
It’s a full day exploring the topics that are the most relevant to you!
This is an alternative style conference. Instead of lectures, we’ll use a collaborative conference technique called “open space” to build an agenda together that addresses attendee’s specific questions, concerns, challenges and ideas.
The small breakout group structure of the event allows you to connect with like-minded folks with similar interests to swap best practices and brainstorm solutions together.
In the past, attendees have come ready to discuss topics like:
- How to recruit coaches
- Managing teenagers
- Best practices for specific classes (parent & tot, boys, etc)
- Getting creative with theme weeks
- Level systems & progress reports
- Adaptive & inclusive programming
- Hosting special events
- Spicing up camp programs
- Marketing ideas
- Motivating coaches to be awesome
- Systems for making the job less chaotic

Topics always depend on what the attendees want to discuss!
We’ve done dozens of Open Space events over the years. Each one is completely unique, but the content is always rich with practical strategies and creative solutions.
Plus, leading rec programs can feel isolating at times.
